The GREFIS Hotel is located southwest of Munich, in the beautiful municipality of Graefelfing.
Not far from the picturesque Würmtal, you can reach the center of Munich as well as the numerous excursion options in the Munich area as well as the five lakes region and of course the Alps in less time. Graefelfing is therefore the ideal starting point for all kinds of activities - both business and private. Our hotel is well connected to public transport. The bus stop with connections to the U-Bahn and S-Bahn is right in front of our hotel. Due to the location in the M-Zone of the MVV, you only pay the low tariff for the Munich interior (find your connections here).The proximity to the A96 motorway with connection to the A99 and the Mittlerer Ring brings you to us comfortably by car and quickly to your business appointments. The Martinsried research campus, the Großhadern campus, downtown Munich and even the DLR Oberpfaffenhofen can be reached in a few minutes by car from the GREFIS.

 

Our tips for the surrounding area:
- Lake Area (approx. 20-30 km): Region around Lake Starnberg, Ammersee, Wörthsee, Pilsensee and Weßlinger See - perfect for hiking and cycling tours.
- Nymphenburg Palace (approx. 8 km): Magnificent palace with extensive gardens and the Nymphenburg Canal.
- Munich Botanical Gardens (approx. 8 km): Beautiful grounds in the Nymphenburg Palace Garden with over 14,000 plant species, ideal for relaxing walks.
- Munich city center (approx. 12 km): 
Munich city center offers numerous sights such as Marienplatz, Frauenkirche, Viktualienmarkt and the English Garden.
- Pasing Arcaden (approx. 3.5 km): Large shopping center with over 150 stores, cafés and restaurants.

You can easily reach us via the A96 motorway.
At Graefelfing you take the exit "Gräfelfing".
Simply follow the street am Kirchhölzl (coming from Lindau) or Pasinger Straße (coming from Munich) to Lohenstraße.

The quickest way from the main train station is to take any S-Bahn in the direction of Pasing.
From there, the bus 265 (in the direction of Planegg) will bring you directly to the Lohenstraße stop in front of our hotel.
The journey time is approx. 30 minutes.

Munich Airport

Simply take the S8 or S1 in the direction of the city center and change at the stop "Laim" to any S-Bahn in the direction of Pasing. From there, bus 265 in the direction of Planegg will take you directly to our hotel (stop: Lohenstraße).

 

Alternatively, you can change at Marienplatz to the U6 in the direction of Klinikum Großhadern. At the station "Großhadern" just take the bus 268 (direction Gräfelfing). Bus 268 will take you directly to our hotel (stop: Lohenstraße).

 

For the trip from/to Munich Airport (MUC) there is a special "Airport-City-Day-Ticket". (Children count as half a person)
By cab or car the journey from Munich airport takes about 35 minutes.

Memmingen Airport

Allgäu-Airport-Express (bus):
The Allgäu-Airport-Express takes you directly to Munich Central Station in around 1.5 hours. From there just take any S-Bahn in the direction of Pasing and from there the bus 265 in the direction of Planegg will bring you directly in front of our hotel (stop: Lohenstraße)
It takes about 60 minutes to get to our hotel by car / rental car.
The journey takes you over the A96 to the "Gräfelfing" exit.

Follow the street "Am Kirchhölzl" to Lohenstraße, you will find the GREFIS on the left side of the street.
